The film crew went out with some of the documentary's subjects and some friends and family for the executive producer's birthday to a very posh restaurant in downtown San Francisco. We got valet parking, we got seated in a private dining room. The director's husband ordered bottles of wine from places with glamorous names and that tasted like a dream. The food was astounding. We had a handsome waiter who was heavy with the drinks. There was a lot of love and laughing at the table.
It is the kind of dinner that I sort of dream of going to sometimes. Everyone thinks about what they'd do with tons of money, and honestly, I'd just want to feed my loved ones with the loveliest food and celebrate their births and existence.
